where one plus one equals one . . .
now, see the green waves

Aaahh… reality strikes!!!
But how fun it is when dreams fuse into reality… (sigh)…especially the better ones :)
I guess I was close enough….I was imagining a man dreaming about his lost love. I did not really understand the “green waves” part but I thought it meant he suddenly became aware of the reality.
Thanks for the interpretation….and it’s amazing how three short lines can tell an entire story!! very beautiful :)
I think our two interpretations are just about the same really! :) I will tell you more… I was writing this haiku. I had the first two lines. Then I looked up from my computer. Of course the first two lines are rather sad and melancholy. Well, I looked up at a painting I have above the computer that I completed in 2003. It’s called “Green Soul City.” In the design, it has a sort of an abstract “green wave” design in it. That just jumped right out at me and it looked so beautiful that I felt joy from it.
And it reminded me that even in painful times, there are beautiful things, and we are still connected to “reality” and “Spirit” even so! :)
I love this haiku. It might not be well understood by many people, but I just love the sound of it. Well, it’s about relationships (one plus one equals one). That’s the dream, right?
Waking from the dream is the part that not too many people like. The dream (the relationship) is over.
But, now we see the green waves (of the ocean of Spirit). We are always one in the ocean of Spirit.
This is an interpretation I have for this haiku :) Perhaps there might be others…
