barebones sagebrush stand
once green with purple blooming …
winter, and waiting
winter and waiting

Hello, Sandy. I’m glad to hear from you. I didn’t know that you read them every day, but I appreciate that! I wrote one about my garden from last summer, and I hope to get a photo added. It’s not a great picture from a photographer’s viewpoint. I just used my iPhone. I’m not sure why. I have a much nicer Canon.
But I put that photo on my wall at work. I just hope the large sagebrush survive this winter, with all the snow we’ve had (and snow predicted twice next week!!! It would take years to grow them that large again. :(
Just wanted to tell you that I read your haiku everyday and enjoy your thought process.
This one caught my gardener’s eye.
