Did I tell the story of one of my other “name” Robert Lew? I think I actually did on my original blog, Existential Pause… (and kids, there are a couple thousand haiku to read there, if you get tired of Grand Theft Auto!
Anyway… My birth “middle” name was, Lewis… but a few years ago, I noticed that the HMO at work had changed my name to Lew. I actually liked it. It separated me from my father, Lewis. I don’t have a problem with the name Lewis. But I like the name, and since it was free, and I like free stuff as much as the next Lewis… I kept it.
And now, a new free name. Robert Unknown. So far, I’m liking it pretty much, too!
Existential Poet was my own creation. Except, I googled myself… (don’t go there, people) and found that there are other Existential Poets, too. But that’s okay, Martha. It actually makes it better, don’t you think?
Sort of like being Robert Unknown. In a world with soooooo many people, it’s a rather realistic name.
lol. That’s great! Now I can tell my children, “If you want to change your name, just wait, someone will do it for you for free.”
It’s so true! Just ask Robert Lew aka Robert Unknown
That’s funny.
See? Sometimes, it’s nice to re-invent ourselves, or at least our names, a little. ;)
~ Sam (sorta … ;)
